Veneers, ceramic pieces, all-ceramic crowns and molar overlays

Tooth tissue does not grow back like hair, so it requires especially careful treatment.
Since the early 2000s, Dr. Lee has raised awareness of the risks of excessive tooth reduction for cosmetic purposes. To pursue beautiful results with greater safety, she personally handles diagnosis, treatment, design and fabrication for Harue Da Vinci.
When laboratory work was delegated to technicians, greater tooth reduction was sometimes used to make the desired shape easier to fabricate. Today, attractive tooth designs can be created more easily without extensive reduction, because veneer thickness can be checked during the design process. Creating a more beautiful shape with less tooth reduction is a key skill in smile design.
Precise optical scans allow treatment to be completed in one day, replacing the traditional process of taking an impression and sending it to an outside laboratory.
Harue has used CEREC since 2007. Completing the restoration on the same day avoids bacterial contamination that may occur while temporary teeth are worn.
Harue uses materials selected for natural-looking results. We mainly use ceramic milled from feldspathic material from Sirona, Germany, seeking a natural appearance that does not look conspicuously treated or artificial.
DR. Hanna Lee has personally designed anterior teeth for over 20 years. She creates designs that suit your face, rather than giving everyone the same tooth shape.
Harue’s digital laboratory equipment captures digital impressions, designs teeth in 3D and mills restorations. Ceramic, zirconia and temporary restorations are all produced quickly and precisely using computer-controlled systems.
People considering veneers often worry most about tooth damage from preparation, followed by how the result will look. We recommend Smile Preview before treatment to help the patient and dentist discuss the expected tooth shape.
Even when an experienced dentist or technician develops a design suited to the dental condition, it may differ from what the patient has in mind. This process helps build a shared understanding. The face and teeth are scanned, the design is created in software, and a mock-up of the planned veneers is tried in before treatment.
01 · Treatment process and timing
Once treatment is agreed after consultation, veneers, ceramic pieces, all-ceramic crowns and molar overlays can be made and bonded on the same day. Both zirconia and ceramic restorations can be completed in one day, and most cases can be finished that day even when treatment involves all teeth or is complex.
Root canal treatment can also be completed in one day when the pulp is not inflamed. If you need more time to decide after consultation, a later treatment date can be booked and treatment carried out on that day.
Surgical procedures or root canal treatment involving apical periodontitis may require additional treatment time. Your actual schedule will be explained after examination.
02 · Suitability and preliminary treatment
Except in cases of severe protrusion or severely irregular alignment, a no-prep or minimal-prep approach may be possible. It may be difficult, however, if the desired tooth shape differs greatly from the current shape. Whether preparation is required, and how much, will be decided after examination and a design consultation.
If gum health is very poor, it is advisable to treat the gums and control inflammation first.
03 · Optional design preview
This is an option for patients who would like to see the anticipated tooth shape before treatment.
If requested, it can also be carried out on the same day for an additional fee.
04 · Aftercare
Check-ups are generally recommended every six months. With good oral hygiene, the interval may be adjusted to once a year depending on your condition.
Eating and everyday activities are generally possible as usual. Individual precautions will be explained according to your dental condition and the extent of treatment.
05 · Fees and insurance
There is no separate price difference based solely on the restoration type or material. Your treatment goals and the complexity of the case have the greatest effect on the fee.
